IPTV Free Trial with IPTV Smarters Pro: Setup and Tips

By IPTV Free Trial TeamPublished Setup
A woman in an armchair watches a small glowing TV by candlelight, the kind of evening viewing an IPTV app like IPTV Smarters Pro is for

If you are about to start an IPTV Free Trial, there is a good chance you will watch it in IPTV Smarters Pro: it is the player our setup guides recommend on smart TVs, Android TV, the Fire TV Stick and Android phones. This post explains what IPTV Smarters Pro actually is, how to log in with your IPTV Free Trial logins on each device, and how to use the 24 to 48 hours of the trial to find out whether the service suits your home, your screens and your connection.

What IPTV Smarters Pro is, and what it isn't

IPTV Smarters Pro is a third-party player app, made and maintained by its own developer, not by IPTV Free Trial. It plays the channels, movies and series of the service you log into, and provides none itself. Install it without a subscription and you get an empty app with a login screen.

Many people search for "iptv smarters pro" expecting to find TV inside it. What they find is a player waiting for a source, and the source is a provider: here, the logins that come with an IPTV Free Trial or a subscription. We don't control the app's updates or menus, so if a screen looks slightly different from what we describe, the developer has probably changed it. New to the idea of a player separate from the content? Our post on what IPTV is and how it works covers the basics.

IPTV Free Trial and IPTV Smarters Pro: which app on which device

IPTV Smarters Pro is the recommended app on most devices our guides cover, but not all of them:

DeviceRecommended appHow it is set up
Smart TV (Samsung, LG, Hisense, Philips)IPTV Smarters ProFree, Xtream Codes login
Android TV and Google TVIPTV Smarters ProFree, installed with the Downloader app
Amazon Fire TV StickIPTV Smarters ProFree, installed with the Downloader app
Android phone and tabletIPTV Smarters ProFree, installed with the Downloader app
iPhone, iPad and Apple TVSmarters Player LiteFree, Xtream login
Windows PC and MacIPTV SmartersFree, from the developer's official website

On Android TV, the Fire TV Stick and Android phones, the app goes in through Downloader, a separate third-party app that downloads a file from a link. We don't print a Downloader code: the IPTV Free Trial team sends you the current download link on WhatsApp, which keeps you away from outdated or lookalike copies. On every device, install apps only from the official store, the developer's official website or that link.

The step-by-step for each device lives on our IPTV setup page, and the Fire TV Stick has its own walkthrough in IPTV Free Trial on Firestick.

The Xtream Codes login in IPTV Smarters Pro, field by field

Trial or paid plan, the login works the same way. You receive the server URL (with its port), your username and your password; paid logins also come with an M3U link in the same e-mail.

When IPTV Smarters Pro opens, choose "Login with Xtream Codes API", not M3U. The Xtream Codes login loads the channels, the movies and series your plan includes, and the TV guide in one go. Then fill in:

  1. Name: anything you like, such as "Living room". It only labels the profile.
  2. Username: exactly as you received it.
  3. Password: exactly as you received it.
  4. Server URL: the full address, including the port number at the end.

Confirm and let the list load: about a minute the first time, then the app opens straight onto your channels.

The most common mistake is invisible: a space that slips in before or after the username or password during a copy and paste. If the app rejects your IPTV Free Trial logins, retype each field by hand and check that the port is still on the end of the server URL. M3U is for apps that ask for it, such as VLC on a computer or Smart One IPTV and HOT IPTV on some smart TVs.

How to use your IPTV Free Trial window in IPTV Smarters Pro

An IPTV Free Trial lasts 24 to 48 hours, you request it on WhatsApp, and it isn't available during big live matches (it is outside them). The team confirms the trial and sends your trial logins with the steps for your device. That is a short window, so plan what you want to learn:

  • Test the connection on the device itself. Run a speed test on the TV, stick or phone you will actually use. You need at least 15 Mbps; on a TV, an Ethernet cable beats Wi-Fi.
  • Try every quality. Streams come in SD, HD, Full HD and 4K, and the 4K streams use the HEVC codec. Older devices can struggle to decode HEVC, so a 4K test on the real device tells you more than a spec sheet.
  • Turn on the TV guide. Enable the EPG in the app's settings and run a manual update.
  • Watch at your usual time. If you mostly watch in the evening, test in the evening, when home networks are busiest.
  • Try each device you plan to use. Standard and Gold work on all your devices, one screen at a time: the connection moves from one device to the next. Platinium lets you watch on two screens at once.

Anything that stutters is worth noting; our guide to IPTV buffering and freezing walks through the usual causes.

Is IPTV Smarters Pro a free IPTV player?

On the devices our guides cover, yes: the version they recommend is free to install. But a free IPTV player is not free IPTV. The player costs nothing because it contains nothing; the channels, movies and series come from the service you log into, and that is what you pay for.

The "free IPTV player" search also turns up sites offering the app preloaded with playlists from an unnamed source. That is no longer a player but a different product, run by someone you can't identify. Keep the two separate: the player from an official source, the logins from a provider you can contact. Any pricing or extras of the app itself are set by its developer, so check its official page.

Other IPTV app options with IPTV Free Trial

Any IPTV app that supports Xtream Codes or an M3U link works with your IPTV Free Trial logins. Our guides name these alternatives:

  • Zen IPTV Player (free): on Android TV, Android phones and iPhone or iPad; you create an account in the app, then log in with Xtream.
  • TiviMate and IBO Player: compatible on the Fire TV Stick.
  • Smart One IPTV and HOT IPTV (paid): on smart TVs, set up with the TV's MAC address and your M3U link on the app's web portal. HOT IPTV is the interface the team suggests for everyday use.
  • IPTVX (paid): suggested mainly for Apple TV.
  • VLC (free): on PC and Mac, with your M3U link through Media → Open Network Stream.

Not sure which app works with your TV model? Ask the team on WhatsApp when you request the trial, and mention the app you plan to use.

Quick fixes in IPTV Smarters Pro

  • Empty channel list: give the first load a minute, then reload the playlist; as a last resort, delete the profile and log back in.
  • No TV guide: enable the EPG and run a manual update.
  • It worked, then stopped: restart the device and your router. If it lasts more than an hour, message the team on WhatsApp for an up-to-date server URL.

Which IPTV app should I use on iPhone or iPad?

Smarters Player Lite, free on the App Store, with Zen IPTV Player as another free option. See the iPhone, iPad and Apple TV guide.
